USA - Massachusetts - Lowell National Historical Park

Lowell National Historical Park
Lowell, Massachusetts
The introduction of horse drawn trolleys in 1863 and later electrified cars in 1889, gave residents the ability to commute to work, the freedom to choose where to live and the opportunity to travel outside the city. Lowell National Historical Park reintroduced the Trolley in 1984 linking the historic downtown mills and the canal transportation system.
