USA - Maryland - Annapolis

ANNAPOLIS HARBOR, MARYLAND
Two hundred years ago, sailors from every colony gathered in Annapolis, trading tales of the sea. Today, one can still watch a multitude of sailboats slip into the historic harbor. Annapolis is Maryland's state capital, an American sailing capital, and home of the U.S. Naval Academy.

Sent by Tammy from Annapolis, Maryland, USA.

This is from Wikipedia : Annapolis is the capital of the U.S. state of Maryland, as well as the county seat of Anne Arundel County. It has a population of 36,524 (July 2008 est.), and is situated on the Chesapeake Bay at the mouth of the Severn River, 26 miles (42 km) south of Baltimore and about 29 miles (47 km) east of Washington, D.C. Annapolis is part of the Baltimore-Washington Metropolitan Area. The city was the temporary capital of the United States in 1783–1784 and the site of the Annapolis Peace Conference, held in November 2007, at the United States Naval Academy. St. John's College is also in Annapolis.

i got your postcard and it's interesting to see what the people there look like...i think postcrossing is a great way to learn about other countries. i got one from germany recently and i had never heard of grimm brothers. i did some reading about them and have their book on my nookcolor for me to read.

anyway, i hope you don't mind but i am going to subscribe to your website. :)
