Moldova - Traditional Costumes

Moldova
One country's traditions are like pages in a history book. A book that makes the country part of the world heritage.
Moldovans follow their traditions religiously, throughout life.
Moldovan artisans use graphic arts symbolising various traditions from thousands of years ago. The Tree of Life, engraved in stone, symbolises human life and love.

Moldova - Toporaş suav (sweet violet)

Toporaş suav or 'sweet violet', one of the many beautiful flowers in Moldova.

Sent by Valentina from Chişinău in Moldovia.

This is from Wikipedia : Viola odorata is a species of the genus Viola native to Europe and Asia, but has also been introduced to North America and Australasia. It is commonly known as Sweet Violet, English Violet, Common Violet, or Garden Violet. The herb is known as Banafsa, Banafsha or Banaksa in India, where it is commonly used as remedy to cure sore throat and tonsilitis. The sweet, unmistakable scent of this flower has proved popular throughout the generations, particularly in the late Victorian period, and has consequently been used in the production of many cosmetic fragrances and perfumes. The French are also known for their violet syrup, most commonly made from an extract of violets. In the United States, this French violet syrup is used to make violet scones and marshmallows.

Moldova - The National Theatre,, Mihai Eminescu

This is the first postcard received from Moldova. It was sent by Valentina, who tagged me in the "I'm Addicted To Postcards, Please Tag Me". It shows The National Theatre,,Mihai Eminescu.

This is from Wikipedia : Mihai Eminescu (Romanian pronunciation: [miˈhaj emiˈnesku]; January 15, 1850 – June 15, 1889) was a Romantic poet, novelist and journalist, often regarded as the most famous and influential Romanian poet. [1] Eminescu was an active member of the Junimea literary society and he worked as an editor for the newspaper Timpul ("The Time"), the official newspaper of the Conservative Party (1880-1918).[2] His first poems volume was published when he was 16 and he went to Vienna to study when he was 19. The poet's Manuscripts, containing 46 volumes and approximately 14.000 pages, were offered by Titu Maiorescu as a gift to the Romanian Academy during the meeting that was held on January 25 1902.[3] Notable works include Luceafărul ("Evening Star"), Odă în metru antic (Ode in Ancient Meter), and the five Letters (Epistles/Satires). In his poems he frequently used metaphysical, mythological and historical subjects. In general his work was influenced by the German philosopher Arthur Schopenhauer.

Eminescu was hospitalized on February 3, 1889 at the Mărcuţa Hospital of Bucharest and then he was hospitalized at the Caritas Sanatorium. On June 15, 1889, around 4 a.m., the poet died at Doctor Şuţu's Sanatorium. On June 17 Eminescu was interred at the shade of a linden in Bellu Cemetery. He was elected after his death (on October 28, 1948) as member of the Romanian Academy

I'm confused ... where is the theatre located actually? In Romania or in Moldova?
