The Roadrunner

THE ROADRUNNER
Because of its lightning quickness, the Roadrunner is one of the few animals that is able to prey upon rattlesnakes. Using its wings like a cape, it snaps up a rattlesnake by the tail, cracks it like a whip and repeatedly slams the snake's head upon the ground until dead. Also in the Roadrunner's diet are insects, scorpions, lizards, rodents and even other birds.
