Andorra - Casa de la Vall

Casa de la Vall or House of the Valley.

Sent by Anatoliy, a Ukrainian from Andorra la Vella in Andorra.

The Valley House is the seat of the General Council (Andorra's Parliament) of Andorra la Vella. It was built in 1580; it's an essential visit for those interested in understanding the inner workings of Andorran institutions.

Which is very interesting of this building is the works of art like the 16th century frescoes in the Antechamber and two 17th century retables.

It is very worth visiting the Hall of the Tribunal Courts on the groundfloor, the hall of the General Council, the Antechamber and the office of the Syndic General and the kitchen. (Source)

Note : This is the first postcard from Andorra. Thanks Anatoliy :)
